Jena 6 Rally
The Rally on Thursday was a very powerful experience for those of us who attended, and I saw a lot of you there. I wanted to create a post where you could share your thoughts in the aftermath of the event. What did you think about the rally? How did you feel? What feedback have you received?

First of all, I want to say thank you to each and every one of you that supported our efforts.
I especially want to thank Brent, Tiffani, Roxie and Cassondra, because without you guys and your brillant minds, we could never have come together and really made our rally a success. I love you guys.
I cannot explain how I feel! I feel so motivated, so alive, so anew! We really united together for this and I am amazed at the turnout. I am so ready to begin our next project; I don't want to rest!
I agree with Fallon; these people did an amazing job! And, Fallon, so did you, so thanks to you too! From what I heard it was no easy task putting it together, but you all kept at it (so motivating!) and really made it a huge success.
It's hard to stay positive when something like this happens, but it is so encouraging to see everyone come together and fight it. Sitting in class seeing everyone in black was so moving. And then to see it again outside with everyone signing the petition was truly heartwarming. Yay!
allison, your black dress was the bomb girl! oh, and to my peeps...i luv you guys so much, without the help of ya'll and the rest of our classmates this day would not have been a success...and Fallon, thank you so much for not backing down from that interview we set up for you. Yeh, ya'll she was on WRBL news Friday night!!!! And yeh, we owe you lunch :) This is all for the boys in Jena Louisiana...

Wellllll...........
You all do owe me lunch and I don't quite know when I want it, but believe me, it will be one day this week! Ya'll got my nerves so ragged!
I agree with you Alison, seeing everyone in class participating in their fellow classmates struggle really showed empathy and courage. I hope that we all can lean on each other in times of need always. That will really help us stick together as colleagues as well as familiar acquaintances. I just appreciate ppl like Tiffany B. and Joi and Ashley (and if I'm forgetting someone pease forgive me) who joined in the fight independently, without being asked. We all appreciate it....
Well that's enough of my talking...thank you guys....
